Xhip Effects

These effect plugins were originally created for use with Xhip.

Originally Xhip was to have embedded effects. It was later decided that external plugins would be more versatile and easier to manage when used for other tasks.

Old effects

I have released a few packages of the effects over the years and some of the effects behave differently in the different packages, most noteably the reverb. Those old packages are provided here for curiosity and for those who specifically want them. The are flawed in that they don't report individualized vst-effect-id values and so some hosts can not manage them correctly. They also lack any guis, although some people prefer that.

Donations

Adding a donation will have a major effect on how much effort I invest in free xhip and the free effects. (It's a significant sign of interest and demand.) If you've got a paypal account or credit-card throwing $5 my way would be great.

Thank you very much to anyone who has donated in the past and who plans to in the future and also anyone who has been much interested in xhip or involved in bug-reporting and it's development over the years; Xhip really is yours in part as you are the source of inspiration for it.

I appreciate of course that a lot of people can't donate. Young people for example or people who don't have as much expendable income as others. For those people of course I'd prefer a link to a track you've done or if you enjoy xhip you can comment or provide suggestions or bug reports to improve it. Comments regarding how xhip works well or cases where it doesn't are always a great help to me.
